With the holiday season now upon us, I wanted to take the opportunity to extend my warmest wishes to you & your family, for a happy, healthy and safe holiday season. This past September, COFONA embarked on a mission to network among individuals, associations, groups, government agencies and other bodies to promote the social, education, cultural, and economic development of New Amsterdam. I am honored to lead this mission into 2011. I look forward to the challenges of this position. I am continually amazed at the dedication of our members. We have many active committees, and ideas generated lead to new and exciting initiatives. Our incoming board is populated with experienced business people with diverse backgrounds and they will bring great value to COFONA’s vision.
As we approach 2011, we will continue engaging more members and new opportunities to advance our vision. Be sure you are a part of the effort. Participate in our activities, volunteer your time, attend fund raisers, and join us at our meetings to implement strategies and programs that would address the long-term needs of our hometown.
